Subject: Re: Top dress v full rate fall NH3 (PIC)

McLeod County, MN
Corn was topdressed when it was about a foot tall 10 days ago. It was Wed. Thurs night recieved about 1" of rain and it pushed the fert in nicely. Friday night got two more inches and then 3-4 more on Sat/Sunday. It is getting close to three feet tall in that spot. This is about the only spot on everything I farm that looks good. Everything else is terrible. And I mean terrible. I have a farm with 185 APH that wont make 100 BPA if things go good.

And no Roy, I didnt ask him, but I dont think anyone around me cares about anything this year, and he wouldnt care for sure. It all looks bad for the most part. Ten miles to the west of us and it is ok. Just trying to convince more guys to use their N more efficently. Lots of anti-farmer Nazis up here trying to come up with all sorts of goofy regulations and they dont like fall N leaching away into the groundwater.
