ND | We bought metal pullers from Carquest. They seem to work better but be careful not to strip the plastic off of the wire. The problem that I assume is that the company that makes the wire harnesses does not use the correct tool for crimping the Deutsch pins on to the wire. Thus making the near impossible to slide the plastic removal tool over an area that is not completely circular in shape.
If you have trouble finding the tool, as I can not find it on the carquest website, my local carquest guys can. just tell them that you want the metal Deutsch removal kit.
