I had the same forecast here on Sat....40% chance of 1 to 3 mm every day and then an inch on Thurs. I figured since the Alfalfa was already in bloom, another week would just about kill me to look at it so I cut and conditioned 45 acres of alfalfa Saturday. Cut and conditioned 35 of grass on Sun. The afalfa cured nice on Sunday and then the SOB's changed the forecast to 60% chance of 10mm tonight (Mon). So we baled everything today between 15%-19%. Spent $1,000 on preservative but it's off the field.....and yes they called off the rain for tonight so we did it all for nothing. ~250 done and only ~750 more acres to go. Rolls eyes.
