Northeast Missouri | Doing custom work, I had trouble convincing people how important it was not to make bales bigger than 62 - 64 inches. I always told them that too big was not a slight inconvenience with wrapping but an extreme problem because their baleage *could not* be wrapped if the wrapper physically could not handle it.
With good, tight bales, you should have no trouble with getting up to that 63-64 inch size...and there is a lot more hay in just those couple inches of diameter, so fewer bales to handle.
