I'm ready to give up on dry hay altogether-going to buy a couple more cheap silage choppers with hay heads-my 2-$5000 budget seems to buy them-nice to have 3 ready to go always 1 or 2 going down with minor repairs but usually can get 25-40 acres a day chopped and put in the pit-I think the cows and calves like haylage better anyhow!
