Northeast Missouri
Maybe Anderson had changed their wrapper specs...on our older one, they say 66" is the theoretical max. diameter. The hoop will handle a 72" bale but if the rolls of plastic are near full size you will tear plastic as they pass the underside of the bale & start back toward the top..."and there will be wailing, and gnashing of teeth".

For our wrapper, 64" is the largest "comfortable" size to not cause problems, even if you run into the occasional odd-shaped bale.

If your neighbor's machine can wrap 66" bales, just be sure if any are odd shaped--have a bulge or are squatty--to put them on the wrapper so that the bulge points upward, or if squatty, that you roll them 90 degrees before putting on the wrapper.
