farmer82 - 6/22/2013 22:05 How big {inches} of bales can you wrap? I know weight gets to be an issue.

The are settings on the wrapper for up to 72" (6ft) diameter bales x 5 ft wide.  My neighbor says he prefers to wrap 60" diameter bales which is what I had my baler set for when I made these bales. He also prefers 4 ft wide bales.

My bales are 5 ft wide and took some learning time and care to get them set in the wrapper.  His own baler makes 4 ft wide x 5 ft diameter bales which are easy to set in and fast to wrap.

We compromised on the next time he wraps for me (oats) at 66" (5-1/2 ft) diameter x 5 ft wide bales.
