DaleK - 6/22/2013 19:19 Hope it works out for you. Wrapping bales under about 35% here is a recipe for dumping a bunch of bales in the swamp.

NOT wrapping 25-30% alfalfa is a sure recipe for disaster also... with the weather we are supposed to get for the next week at least I figured this was worth a try, especially with the local experience of my neighbor that this is common around here.

This is beef cow hay, not dairy. We'll see how it goes. I appreciate your comments, Dale.  This will definitely be the first hay I feed in November.
