IH-Harvester - 6/19/2013 08:36 Planted into some half dead rye this spring and had a hard enough time getting the trench closed. The thought of a failed crop similar to planting into sod comes to mind. How can you avoid this?
Use a well-designed spoked closing wheel setup. Use toe-out wedges to more aggressively pull the soil back into the furrow.
