MN | Looks like he wants it farmed organically. If you want to farm it, you'll have to do the transition.
Cultivate it again going the opposite direction you went the first time. Then as necessary through the year. Don't be afraid to move some dirt.
A crew is expensive, but might be necessary.
If he wants a clean field, it isn't going to happen at this point.
Start looking at markets for organic crops after the transition.
