Subject: Re: Wheel or track tractor with tanks

Northeast Nebraska
We have the sidequest 1200s. They are a lot nicer than the 1000s. They have a sump bottom and better mounting and bearing design. I can get them sucked out to having less than 5 gallons in them everytime, sometimes less. We run a centrifugal pump that is mounted under the right tank. We fill at the left tank, have a tee underneath the tractor where it splits to the front and right tank. We have 2" fp electric valves on each tank to control gravity over filling. Its nice to keep the front tank full for roading the tractor.

I'd probably go with SS tanks if I was spraying chemicals other than glyphosate. We only use our tanks for fertilizer, planter and side dress bar.
