Southcentral WI | We have a number of guys running red tractors, with 3rd party displays, software and activations. Trimble, agLeader, etc. The 3rd party software is working great with the two different colors...running auto steer on the tractor and running all planter functions on seed star XP as well as the row clutches. Deere's computer/controller is located on the planter, the display is only a display that hosts activations to control items in the planters computer. Not sure how CIH 700 system works, but to run a green planter you should need nothing special from Deere, all you need is on the planter. An ISO display will run XP, but you need 3rd party activation to run clutches. | |
