Biggest difference I can remember in 30/40 series is different injector pump...40 series pump made a whole different tractor out of our 4430...lots more low end torque, didn't have to have thottle wide open to back up.
50 series had 15 speed power shift and mfwd available. Substantially more power in same size tractor. Heavier wheels and hitch.
