On a similar note....last spring I had a neighbor that called DATCP here in Wisconsin, and complained about me spraying the field of corn that was near their house AT LEAST 15 TIMES by this date last spring! So the officer called me to question me. I had not sprayed the field once! But...he had told the couple that the only real thing that I can't do is have spray drift leave my property. BINGO! That was all they needed to know. Two days later it was very calm with maybe a 5 mph breeze in my favor, and I sprayed. That was Sunday, and Monday ;morning I get a call from the same DATCP officer saying now I was under investigation for drift. What a bunch of crap. I have still never been cleared and I asked the officer for a written statement spelling out the claims they had made. Interesting how things can get turned on a farmer, and the cops come a runnin'
I know they have to follow up on things, but this was so obvious it is laughable. Oh, and 2 years ago she had a mysterious illness and her doctor told her it was related to farm pesticides. Neither one of them work and she is 38 and he is 63 and they just had a kid. Oh ya, and he is divorced multiple times. Surprise. Sorry for the rant. Good luck with your situation.
