| I would turn the matter over to my insurance company, let them defend this issue, and settle the claim. With so many "slob farmers" today, pouring on chemicals, insecticides and allowing them to drift onto another's property and seep into acquifers they should be sued for damages. I mean . . . that is what you pay insurance for, they may settle the claim, but if you were in fact negligent, then you will be writing them a check for the damages they paid out and legal fees they incurred.
