| I am new to this board and fairly new to precision ag equipment. My operation is ranching in Central Texas. I will be spraying weeds and/or brush and applying dry fertilizer in pastures and hay fields. I bought a cruizer II last year and added a Raven SCS 203 this year.
I am trying to set up the hardware paint option using the boom sense adapter. I ran a wire from the "cold" side of the master on/off switch on the 203 to the boom sense adapter (part # 1-115-0171-792), plugged it into "port A" (on the lower right side if looking at the back of the Cruizer II, below the antenna jack) and changed the setting from "screen" to "hardware". That setup completely disabled the paint function, whether the switch on the 203 is on or off makes no difference. Restarting the Cruizer did not fix it. I have version 2.3.3 software but I will get my dealer to install the latest upgrade next week.
I hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
