Roland, IA | Being a former JD Precision Ag Tech... I used to think that green was the ONLY way to go. Wow was I so closed-minded. I used to have customers ask my why JD can't do this or do that... On things that Ag Leader can do. Such as take a display directly from the planter tractor and go right into the combine and have all of your variety maps there and available.
Now that I work for one of Ag Leader's largest dealers, I've seen the light. The training that we get from Ag Leader doesn't even compare to JD. JD's training is usually an overview of how things work and where to find info. With Ag Leader, they go further into testing, diagnostics, and repairs (all hand's on!).
Now, I do agree with one of the earlier posts. It really all comes down to where your dealer is and how you get service.
I will say this though, with Ag Leader, if they put out a firmware with a hiccup in it, they try to fix it immediately. With Deere, it's normally called Wait until the fall when the next release comes out!
Good Luck with your decision!
