East central Indiana | What moisture is to high when big squaring alfalfa and grass hay. We've always just baled when we felt it was dry. But we baled our first cutting today and the fancy new monitor is telling me it's 16-30% we are putting preservative on. But just trying to figure out what dry moisture really is on hay. Thanks were baling it with a new holland bb9060 crop cutter. With harvest Tec preservative system. | |
