Subject: Re: Who needs hay?

NW Illinois Stephenson county
If you are putting on 600 lbs of potash on your hay ground, I would suggest calling Mike Dietmeier, 815-291-4243, of Midwest Bio-ag. A 1000 lbs of Bio-cal and a complete balanced fertilizer would help you increase your yield, increase your hay's quality, lower your need to spray for potato leaf hoppers, noticeably reduce the dandelion population, and reduce costs. It did this for me. The local coop sent a pamphlet and I could not believe they were recommending 600-800 lbs of potash/acre in 2 applications. They used to think I was crazy 25 years ago when I put 400lbs/a. Turns out they were right, but they have the wrong solution!
