That sucks Gary.

I've had that happen on 2 out of the past 4 years. The worst was a whole field of 6ft tall sudangrass that got laid flat by a straight-line wind. I could only cut in one direction, then I would have to run back to the other side of the field to start cutting again. I got it baled and it made a nice 2nd crop, so I guess it was worth it. Sure was frustrating though!

You probably already know this, but if you put the shoes on the disc mower all the way down and angle the cutterbar all the way down it will pull it up a lot better. Of course, it only really works good if you're driving the opposite way the wind was blowing.
