WY, OK | 5 watts is all you need, that is even enough to run the charger with no battery in direct sun. Any old car battery that holds a charge will work with a solar panel hooked up.

Saved a lot of money not buying the overpriced Gallagher crap any more. Also have a few parmak's that do ok but one finally bit the dust.
Harbor freight has been the best price on solar panels and don't forget to use the 20% off coupon that they have. They have changed suppliers in the past year or so, so not sure what they have now, their 1.5 watt will work in the summer but doesn't work on the short winter days with low sun. | |
