I agree that much of this business is misguided and based on a limited understanding of the true facts of the matter, and that there are those all too willing to co opt the situation for their own ends. However I think it would be a mistake to characterize those opposing gmo's as dupes or fools, and I think that lesson is something that Monsanto has been forced to learn the hard way.
