| If you find an answer to floating posts, let me know. I have a lot of wetland line fence and just use 7ft T-posts for everything but the corners and that works great. For corners, nothing works. I even tried driving in 10ft sections of well pipe for the corners and they still tip over and jack themselves out somehow. It isn't the frost, it's just that that wet ground is a dense liquid and everything floats out of it over time. My strategy last year along the wet edge of my cow yard was to drive RR ties in until only 4ft was out of the ground and then lay another tie on the ground between the posts and lash them all together with panels so if the ties raise out they also have to carry out the tie that's laying in the mud out with them. Several of those ties that were laying on the ground are now nearly off the ground hanging from the panel! In a few years, I'll probably just pull the panels off and re-staple them back to ground level. I think the best solution might be to invest in a hydraulic post pounder for maintenance. :)
Edit: Those guardrail posts pictured on here a few threads back look like something I would like to try.
