I have two gooseneck tandem dual trailers and 3 bumper hitch. One of the bumper hitch trailers is rated at 16K; it's still not much more than a lawnmower or UTV trailer. The goosenecks are longer and much more manuverable as well as safer with a load. Goosenecks are much more forgiving if the load is not placed right.
3/4 or one ton SRW handle 30K lbs easily.
