i'm a fan of goosenecks and have a 25' 14.4k gvw trailer it pulls easy behind our 1 ton diesels. Our problem is its kinda inbetween to big for some jobs and to small for others. I think next time I will get a little 16' bumper pull and a 30' 25k gooseneck. I realize you are limited my truck size but you might consider buyin a bigger trailer from the start and up grading truck later.
