East Central Illinois / West Central Indiana | I have always understood the frustration. ISO 11783 is still more or less in its infancy and many companies will never fully adopt it. We were told that it is unlikely that there will ever be an ISO Case IH planter, right or wrong. I believe customer research can be anything from searching AgTalk, to calling the support line I posted above, to physically connecting the two components together with demo unlocks before buying (assuming you have dealers willing to work with you). From my side, I can say that my display is ISO 11783 compliant, but until I plug that display into another manufacture's implement I either have to take their word for it that the implement is compliant, or I have to find evidence that the combination has worked before. As ISO 11783 progresses and it becomes clear what implements are, in fact, ISO compliant these issues will begin to fade away. Until then we are left with the above options. |
