East Central Illinois / West Central Indiana | In situations like that I can understand the frustration. There are dealers out there that do not understand the value in precision farming. Koenig's was slow to adopt precision farm and it has been a long up hill battle to get back in the game. The dealer you mentioned is doing themselves and their customers a big disservice talking people out of the PF technology. Case has integrated so many of their implements and vehicles in such a way that the Pro 600/700 displays can easily control most operations. There are even vehicles you can't run without them. I realize I work with the displays every day but I think a lot of the Case and Trimble equipment we well is very user friendly and easy to understand after just a little instruction. But again, like I said, until a dealer sees the benefit in selling the technology and hiring someone to sell and support it I can easily see how you would run into situations like you described. |
