Subject: Re: Had I known

Near-north Ontario, French River
That's exactly how I try to straighten things out, it just never seems to work out LOL. I even lift the marker sooner as I come to the end to remove the 'hook' at the end , so that I don't fixate on it. My ends are usually pretty good its all the waviness in the middle that gets me. I know that part of my problem is that we are slightly undersized on out tractor and the planter at times will push the tractor around in our very variable ground, that and I tend to look back a lot to check on the planter and that introduces some crooks in the line as well. That's my main reason for considering autosteer, so that I can look back more without making things worse. Sad part is I will eventually get things straightened out, after maybe 8 passes of the field, then I'm happy until the next pass . I get to the end and see a great big "wow" in the rows, even though I swear I never moved the steering wheel more than an inch! lol
