Um, the primary ingredient for making ethanol which we need a lot more of because of ethanol, is heavily subsidized.

Not to mention the taxpayers spent a whole pile of money to get the whole industry set up and running.

I'm not in favor of killing ethanol but it doesn't do any good to lie to the public about it.
