Subject: Re: New Holland T8 Series - No Power

Litchfield, NY
The engine Boost is controlled by a twist sensor mounted in the drive line between the hydraulic and PTO drive. This sensor measures the twist and sends values to the ECM which boosts engine horsepower according to the degree of twist. I would guess any load on the hyd/PTO drive that boosts engine horsepower would be consumed by the hydraulic or PTO load. Just an assumption , as I have never tested the theory. Those size implements would be a real load in our soils and hills here , but if your Genesis and Tag would pull them I cab understand your disappointment. I would check the elbows on the fuel filter , I have found plastic chips in them causing low power issues, as stated by get by.
