Southcentral WI | IT'S EASIER TO CONVINCE CONGRESS....and probably cheaper too. We as producers can sit her and complain about John Q Public and his view all day, but let's be honest here. How much does our complaining and lobbying to congress solve the issue at hand? You all sound like republicans and democrats here, more eager to blame one side or the other while completely ignoring how to solve the problems and tackle the white elephant in the room. Ethanol will fail in the near future if this is as organized and convincing as we in ag can get. They are already considering cutting out corn ethanol mandates this year with strong support from the general population. Nobody should feel sorry for ag, nobody will. Sympathy is right there in the dictionary between S#it and Syphilus. Where it belongs. With this many creative minds and wet ground waiting to dry, I would figure there would be a wealth of ideas on how to promote ag, not tear it apart! | |
