and this is coming from someone that has been on the livestock side

dont get me wrong, livestock guys work hard to earn a pay check too, but for a livestock guy to say anything about this is pot calling the kettle black

grain farmers raised crops under COP for decades to the AMERICAN PUBLIC's advantage and the LIVESTOCK PRODUCER's advantage

many seem to think cheap food and a safe supply that is ample is A GOD GIVEN RIGHT

I CALL FREAKING TOTAL BS, YOU DONT LIKE THE PRICE OF FOOD, GROW IT YOURSELF. YOU DONT LIKE THE PRICE OF FEED, GROW IT YOURSELF. YOU DONT LIKE THE PRICE OF FUEL, FIND IT AND REFINE IT YOURSELF.

so if it was for years that corn farmers where producing for the "consumers and livestock guys benefit" why did you keep growing corn? There was no mandates on livestock so you could milk cows or fed hogs ? Us hog guys have cut production a 1/3 in Ontario since we have a 5% mandate on Ethanol and a big surplus of corn that is all getting sucked south to US ethanol plants......gee Kookier got subsidized feed? why would you sell him corn cheaper than other markets? Corn growers never gave livestock guys a break as they always paid a premium over other markets for good feed. Compare the subside checks that cash grain farmers received too what your US hog guys have got. Ever since the Russian grain robbery every little boys farm dream has to be a grains and oil seeds farmer,ever wonder why?
