northwest missouri
Having a similar problem with 1790 planting soybeans, variable rate drives - my actual population reads lower than my target but after I had planted first 200 acres of beans I realized it was running too high, what is interesting is that I am over planting about 6% above what my actual is reading. This planter has been right on for population previous three seasons, can't figure out what is going on unless it has something to do with software on planter being upgraded again this season. Both JD planter tech and AMS tech at my dealership say they have several planters doing the same thing but can't figure out why.
