Missouri | I refuse to play the finger point game (tractor guy says it's the implement, implement guy says it's the tractor). The customer is the loser in that game. When I encounter a GS3 problem, I just fix the GS3. Maybe I'm just lucky, my local deere greenstar people have given me any information I have asked for over the phone, some things I could not have troubleshot without that.
You can turn your alarm thresholds up, that will reduce the frequency of rate alarms.
I have seen the lost controller on several planters, and it's always been solved by rebooting, or plug/unplug. I have never seen one have to do both. Either way seems to work, but I prefer the shutdown/reboot over the plug/unplug. Not for any particular reason, just a gut hunch it's the better way. | |
