Thanks Kevin. It is definitely a saga. The harder I'm trying to get things resolved, the more I'm realizing many of the problems are self inflicted. The primary example is that I did not have a big enough ground wire for the power supply on many of my electronic devices which created all my low voltage issues, or at least contributed to them.

If I can't get it to do what Gerard says it does when we get a slow spell, I'll probably ask John Deere if there are options for reprogramming the wedgebox. Until it rains though, we'll just let it keep rolling. Thanks again.

I don't think you are going to get it to be anything but a seeder the way it is programmed now. See your third pic. "Implement Type" is grayed out and unchangeable by you. That part needs to be able to be changed. Also, in your second pic the recording source is "Auto" and is is grayed out as well-also unchangeable by you. If that was (and will be when you get the cart reprogrammed) being populated by the 1770 it would still be grayed out "Auto" but that is what you want. From what Gerard and others have said, they have the option of changing the "Implement Type". This can only be done if the wedgebox/controller is programmed to allow it. Once it is programmed that way I don't know how it might work to again put the cart with the seeder by themselves. Might need a different program-just don't know. And it might be as simple as changing a code from the diagnostics menu on the 2630-say to not allow the cart to be "priority". When I had my 1900 cart it lost some settings once and the service mgr at the dealership had me go into some section that was not readily accessible from the normal menu to put them back. I don't even remember now where it was on the display but they might be able to talk you through it over the phone. Probably would want to be sitting in the tractor when you call. Hope you get it resolved. :)
