NESD | I stumbled across the same fix last weekend by accident on a customers planter, he is pulling a fertilizer caddy so had his operation times set so that the fertilizer would start flowing just as the seed hit the dirt, I hastily read a DTAC solution about the timing and understood it to say the difference from the longest turn on to the shortest the off could not be more than one second, I advised him to adjust his times closer and it made a difference in not being so erratic, I then told him to make the times the same and it completely stopped the rows turning on when raised on the headlands and rows stopping when entering the field.
Later that day another customer was having the same issues with a planter pulling a three tank air cart blowing fertilizer into the furrow, I had him set the times the same and his problems also went away, Not sure why we can set different times for the different operations when they have to be set the same | |
