| I appreciate the thought but I think that's basically what we did. We planted well over 2000 acres with only the planter plugged in to the 2630 and the air cart plugged in to the 2600 on separate harnesses. Then we unplugged the air cart from the 2600 harness and plugged it in to the back of the planter instead.
Not only that, but in 2011 I didn't have two tractor harnesses and a spare 2600 so I had to run it the way you see in these pictures. I did what you described multiple times and not only that but I unplugged the 7 pin on the air cart along with the CAN and started up with the planter, then plugged the CAN in, then the air cart 7 pin. Since that was 2 years ago, I don't remember what it did on that start, but I do remember that I couldn't make it stick on restarts. | |
