This is Italian ryegrass, I saw it was quite a bit lighter than wheat so I had hope I could get it to blow out the back if I change some settings and slow down a little bit.

I had plans for a cover crop in this field next year anyways. I was planning on radishes and oats or clover but in this case I will take advantage of the ryegrass that's already in it as well. So far it looks like I was lucky and it hasn't hurt my wheat yield yet the heads are still full. I would've treate it when I topdressed but it wasn't visible then. Learned my lesson though. I agree on it being cheaper to control in corn. I will plan a good burn down and pre or post treatment as well next year to reduce it.
