Eastern Nebraska | Don't know if it has anything to do with your problem but a couple years ago I would lose signal about the same time every day. It had to do with the elevation mask setting. The EZ 500 couldn't handle more than 10 sats and it was picking up 12 . I would change the elevation mask and it would work correctly. Since your problem is about the same time every day it may be something similar.
Could possibly be number of sats is dropping off to low for a bit.
