north central Oklahoma | I got this from a friend today, his interpretation of DTN's comment on expanded limits and reasoning behind them.
Truth about market limits came out today on DTN. wasn't about price discovery. Had to run the big dogs out of market before producers capitatized on the rising prices. K.C. margin requirments( as of today) jumped to 3750.00 per contract, with 5000.00 margin maintance. Take some real deep pockets to play the game now. That will pull a lot of interest out of the wht. market. Comments were that it looks more like price control than price discovery.
