Today's "feral" horses are truly inbred and a blight on the landscape. The bureau of land mismanagement neglects their duties due to fear of lawsuits from horse lovers and in the end the range and horses suffer. Let alone the ranchers trying to make a living and care responsibly for the range. And what about the real wild animals like deer that die from starvation due to the horses eating all the vegetation?

It's a full blown disaster that only the Feds could create
Exactly . They take away from productive animals. Besides grubbing the grass to the ground.
