Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | That there is a pretty good example of your typical smash and grab job. That is not a high end safe, just you typical farm store "residential security container". But it did the job. Most of us don't have any irreplaceable heirloom type guns that are worth big money. We just have regular guns, that regular smash and grab thiefs are after. Sure, a real safe would be nice, but they are $5k+++, and I'd still be saving for one. I bought a similar safe, and it will do the job well enough like your did. Sure, they are not impenetrable, esp. to farmers who know about cutoff wheels, etc. But it keeps the quick thiefs out.
