Apache sprayers come with a flow meter on them and the display is right above your fill valve. Depending on your setup, it may be easier to rig that up. or if you want to see it at the transfer pump, like sprayertech said, put one on a battery on the nurse trailer or tank.
I know what you mean though, I never have real good luck with partial tanks. We normally load full though so it's not as big of a deal.
