Subject: British standard fitting , pain in the butt

I have an older hardi suspended boom that i jsut retrofited with a cross cylinder and ALL T Jet spray parts. The more british stuff I can throw off of there the "MORE HAPPY" I will be.To get the cross cylinder to fit I had to remodel some steel stuff and the hose conecting it to the original plumbing is the original oil line with one end cut off and a pipe fitting put back on because I could not find an adapter any where. Also, When looking for iron to match some of the repair areas on the frame, I found no steel in america was offered that matched some of the Hardi stuff's sizes so I had to double up some stuff to get it close to the same thickness. Then there is that diaphram pump.....it works great but is made in Denmark and repais are expensive I am told.I tried to find a drain plug for my pump so I could start spraying and ended up driving 4o miles to a dealer and taking one out of his new sprayer offerd for sale on the lot as no one for 180 miles had that dam British standard plug and I could not make any thing else work as the threads are really shallow..
