That's a fair question and I will try to respond. Don't be afraid to email me. For me, the row cleaner sweeps the path clean for the double disk openers to do a better job of cutting a true vee like you would find in full tillage so we get good seed to soil contact without straw or stalk mixed in. I am usually planting into a dead or killed residue since I've been able to cover crop every acre the past several years.

Does this make sense? Everywhere we dug yesterday we had earthworms in the shovel load.

I do not find as many worms in some of the very high yielding soils in Iowa and Minnesota so I can't say mine is more productive, just a different ecology.
