Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | There are two big pluses to a pull planter that pulls from the 3-point.
#1- When folding the 3-point provides the up and down adjustment of the planter so the wings will line up right when folding.
This is a big reason the drawbar hitch is a extra cost deal. And a good bit of extra.
#2- The 3-point can handle the heavy hitch weight.
I have no problem with mind being hitched that way.
