Yes, it's possible that the other connectors are blank, SATA connectors should all have 7 pins.
But that would be weird, even OEMs leave some minimal room for expansion.

That's why I prefer to build my own machines, at least I know what's on the motherboard.
OEMs usually fit everything with as few components as they can in the tightest space.

You can check if the other connectors are viable by moving the main drive data cable to one of them.
