Yep, all SATA cables are the same and support both SATA 3 and 6 Gbps, colors are used only to make it easier to identify them when you have many devices. Use the DVD SATA cable and one of the power cable from the UPS for a direct recognition of your second hard drive if Acronis does not recognize the ones that go through a USB port.

There is absolutely no risk for the computer. Some for you, if you don't disconnect the power cable before meddling with your PC's internals. Try also to touch the wall or something to get rid of potential static electricity in your body, you don't want to fry that board in this tight space.

Get another SATA long cable next time you're in the computer aisle, it's always better to use a separate one rather than connecting and reconnecting other devices.
