East Central Illinois. 39.346676, -87.653484 | I ran two 688 New Hollands, then got a CIH 562. Was pleased with both. The 688 seemed easier to load net but I had also loaded it alot more than the CIH.
I baled mostly straw, but also "grass" hay, and a few corn stalks.
The newer CIH/NH balers have much easier access to belt roller bearings than the older ones, and the pickup assemble seemed to run smoother.
Pulled all with JD2955 and JD7200/7320. 29 had its hands full in green/heavy material but did just fine. |
