Michigan | Shortage is due to the fact that the manufactures just don't have the material needed to make more ammo. Most manufactures buy their copper and tin supply's 2 years out. Every year they increase their order by 22% to accommodate natural growth of the market.
Well when this ammo frenzy took off the manufactures used up all their bulk supplies for making ammo. Since there sales spiked so much higher than the usual progression they just dont have the resources needed to manufacture. Now they are scrapping together what they can find to keep production going but their supplies are limited so it could be a while before they can get there brass requirements met so try can meet the needs of retailers. | |
